I am back...

A few impressions from our trip through the outback. All went well and the car was running fine. The only mishap was that we lost a driving light on one of the many bumpy dirt tracks. The endless corrugation shook it loose!
We drove from Mareeba to Bourketown, then Borroloola and on to Daly Waters. South along the Stuart Highway to Alice Springs, several gorges, Palm Valley, Kings Canyon, Uluru and Katajiuta. Further south to Port Augusta, through SA  and the Riverina and then home to Sydney. Most of the time we camped in the bush and just a couple of times in a Caravan Park. Towards the end the weather turned bad and so we spent the night in a Motel. Overall another fabulous trip, so much raw nature, red earth, rocks and endless blue sky! We just love it out there....

Uns gefaellt sowas sehr!
