Bush Flowers

 At this time of the year all sorts of flowers are starting to appear in the bush. One of the most famous is the Waratah, the state emblem of NSW. We found a few of the spectacular blooms in Heathcote National Park, not far from where we live.

On the way back to my car a couple of Kookaburras laugh at me!

Um diese Jahreszeit faengt der Busch zu bluehen an. Wohl die spektakulaerste aller Blumen muss die Waratah sein, das Emblem von New South Wales. 

Auf dem Weg zurueck zum Auto lachten mich ein paar Kookaburras aus!

Christmas decorations and more.....

A few weeks ago I picked up a commission for christmas trees. To fill the kiln I had to make some more items like flatware a series of spoons and various other small items. I definitely have to go slow since my shelves are just about full now!

Letzthin erhielt ich einen Auftrag fuer Tannenbäume in verschiedenen Groessen. Um den Brennofen zu fuellen brauchte es noch einiges mehr. Kleine Loeffel sind ideal fuer auch die kleinste Ecke aus zu nutzen. Jetzt muss ich zuerst mal verkaufen da mein Lager aus allen Naehten platzt!
