Seit ich meinen neuen Brennofen anschaffte machte ich ein paar neue Sachen speziell zum testen der verschiedenen Brenntemperaturen. Inspirieret von Gesichtern und Koepfen enstanden Vasen und Uebertoepfe.

Last minute birthday present

We were invited to a 60th birthday party and my husband told me only barely a week beforehand. What to bring is always the big question. Since the birthday boy is a keen golfer I came up with the idea of making a dish with something funny inscribed. Started making it on Sunday and delivered the next Saturday. He likes the unique gift and everybody had a laugh.

Wir waren fuer eine Geburtstagsfeier zum 60th eingeladen und mein Mann erwaehnte es erst eine knappe Woche bevor es stattfand. Was mitbringen ist immer schwierig. Das Geburtstagskind ist ein leidenschaftlicher Golfer und so kam ich auf die Idee mit einem getoepferten Stueck. Am Sonntag angefangen, zwei Mal gebrannt und am Samstag mitgebracht. Er hat sehr Freude daran und alle haben sich amusiert wegen der Aufschrift. Sogar das Wuermli kichert!
