I have a couple of money plants, both back and front for good measure. They are supposed to attract financial security, always worth a try! In one of the pots I discovered a very unusual "flower" type thingy, must be some sort of fungus.

As I mentioned last night, this plant is Stapelia, a succulent which gives off the smell of rotting meat to attract flies to pollinate it. Looks great, smells bad!
I think yours is Stapelia variegata
