My birthday was in early July and as a present my husband organized a Hot Air Balloon Flight. We left home shortly after 5 o clock on a bitterly cold morning and drove over 1 hour to one of the starting points out west in Camden Valley. It was absolutely magical, so quiet and silently floating as the light breeze took us. The fog in the valleys added to the special ambience. Since the landing spot cannot be picked, we ended up landing in a paddock. The boys had to get out and push the balloon near to a fence where we had to claim over and the balloon was pulled over with the 4 WD. I would do it again in a heartbeat, it was even better than flying! As we walked through the very wet grass I saw a butterfly waiting for some warmth as well!
Mein Geburtstag ist Anfang July und als Geschenk organisierte mein Mann einen Heiss Luft Balloon Flug. Wir fuhren kurz nach 5 Uhr frueh an einem bitterkalten Morgen los und erreichten Camden Valley im Westen von Sydney zu einem der Abflugs Plaetze. Es war toll bei Sonnen Aufgang ueber die Landschaft zu schweben. Ueberall in den Taelern hingen noch die Nebelschwaden und wir glitten sanft und gerauschlos ueber die Landschaft. Wir landeten in einer Wiese ohne Zugang fuer das Abholfahrzeug. So mussten die Maenner aussteigen und den Korb mit Balloon zum Zaun stossen. Dort kletterten wir drueber und der Balloon wurde mit dem 4WD rueber gezogen. Alles in allem ein tolles Erlebniss das ich sofort wieder machen wuerde.
Als wir durch das nasse Grass stapften sah ich einen Schmetterling der wie wir auf etwas Waerme wartete.
